Exceptionally Pretty Surprises

A few days ago, while doing my roots, my package from Pretty Minty came. You may have seen my picture update about it on my instagram feed.
Pretty Minty is one of my newest sponsors which offers affordable, cute, and unique jewellery items. I selected a few items from their inventory since I need some jewellery for IMATS this weekend.
I love the colorful tissue paper. I always appreciate when companies put love and care into how their packaging. It helps me feel at least, that the sender cares about their product.
BAM! Bam indeed. Look at this plethora of goodies! Actually the owner of Pretty Minty sent me a few extra gifts along with stickers. It was really sweet of her to do so.
Here’s a few detailed pictures of the items I received and selected:
This comic BAM ring was the first to grab my attention, for obvious reasons (nerd).
It’s a mirror blue and silver glitter acrylic ring. It also comes in mirror fushia.
I actually like the stretchy ring back on this particular ring. It’s really comfortable.
I tend to hate adjustable ring backs because they pinch my finger or leave an odd green ring. After wearing this ring for a day, it didn’t do any of those things.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
I also selected these Lime rhinestone bow earrings. I haven’t seen them in this color before, so it immediately got my attention.
They actually look yellow in this photo due to my flash, however they’re actually more of a green-yellow colour.
Lastly, I selected this Leopard heart necklace. I am a sucker for leopard print!
It’s a fairly lightweight necklace and I like the faux-double length that the rhinestone create.
I’m pretty excited about these items. I’m glad they arrived so quickly as well (2 days for me!). Each of these items go really well with the IMATS outfits I’m making.

Gummy is Pinkie Pie’s pet Alligator . Gummy appears to be usually calm, showing little interest to whatever happens around him. However, he also has a tendency to try biting various things and to hide in the water. When he’s first introduced in Feeling Pinkie Keen, he shows rather aggressive behavior for a pet, because after Pinkie sets him on the floor, he proceeds to try to bite the pink Earth Pony repeatedly; as he has no teeth, this does no damage and Pinkie doesn’t even seem to notice. The episode Party of One shows that his behavior is usually more peaceful, although he still tends to bite whatever happens to be near him. Most of the time, Gummy is docile to the point of absurdity, and in direct contrast with Pinkie Pie’s crazed antics; he shows little to no awareness of his surroundings, often just sitting and staring into space with the same unchanging expression on his face at all times. No matter what is happening, Gummy usually just sits in place and stares at nothing, although he will occasionally attempt to bite nearby objects or even ponies. He’s also able to “dance” to the music with his tail to be the only part of his body actually moving. He also seems to favor a ball of wool as his favorite toy, happily pushing it along with his nose or riding it as it rolls along. Pinkie seems convinced that Gummy is much more complex and lively than he appears to be. At the end of Party of One, for example, she said that Gummy was “pretty upset” about his party being unattended, despite the fact that Gummy had shown no change in his behavior or mood whatsoever.

Oooh…. I love those earrings! They look like they’d be perfect with your sunshine dress! The necklace screams Betsey Johnson- which is a plus in my book

About the green ring you get from some rings: add a bit transparent nail polish on the inside of the ring – it wouldn’t happen again then.
