It’s IMATS Christmas!

It was a crazy ass weekend, but I survived IMATS LA!
I have so much blogging to catch up on, so I’ll make this haul post quick. Working the Sugarpill booth again this year was AWESOME ♥
I’ll be sure to post my personal photos later, but on to my haul and some previews!
First up, the previews of the upcoming Sugarpill palettes and loose pigments!
We’ve kept it under wraps for months!! Those of you who were able to attend IMATS LA were able to see the upcoming Sparkle Baby palette, Cold Chemistry palette that Sugarpill did with Amelia Arsenic, and the upcoming neon pigment line.
I absolutely am dying to get the Cold Chemistry palette. Why? Because it’s our darker “goth” palette. I’m in love with the purple and shimmery white. I also have been awaiting these awesome promo shots of Amelia.
From the Sparkle Baby palette, I’m dying to get the coral color. And of course, I can’t wait to get all of the neon colors. Nothing says “alien-space-explorer” like neon (or star trek, whatever).
Most of you also know I’ve raved about Lit Cosmetics for months as well. I’m completely in love with their liquid glitter base, and all of their glitters.
I made sure to pick up a few extra bottles at IMATS LA and all of their neon glitters. I’m all over neons lately.
I also got their water-resistant glitter base, which I’m eager to try. Apparently this base was created for Cirque. Hardcore, dudes.
The girls of the Benefit brow bar also gifted us with their book and brown mascara.
I started reading the book yesterday, and it is actually pretty interesting. Even though I’m sure that it is meant for natural brows, they have a few tips and tricks that could easily be applied to color and glitter brows.
As far as the brown mascara, I’m eager to try it. For those who don’t know, brown mascara helps soften the eyes. It is really helpful in creating a “romantic” and “dolly” sort of look. I’ve seen plenty of Japanese gyaru employ the use of brown mascara.
Elessa of Pursebuzz.com also gave me this cute lipstick necklace and ring set. Her booth was really packed when I went there, so I couldn’t browse too much.
The biggest haul? OCC of course. I think I got a total of 19 or so liptars, and their mixing medium. I’m going to try to show all of them to you guys on another day so you can see the difference.
And of course, I got the new limited edition color from Sugarpill! I’m not sure anybody knows how to pronounce it, but I call it as it literally is: @#$%! (AT NUMBER DOLLAR PERCENT!!!).
Here it is pictured with this year’s Sugarpill necklace.
I received a lot of questions about obtaining the necklace, but these aren’t for sale. They are only available to our staff at IMATS.
Here’s a better shot of the pan. Some people have been calling it “Love+ with glitter” but I think it’s actually a bit more on the pink-red, than the primary red color of Love+. There is definitely a difference in the two.
And finally, my last purchase from IMATS? Makeup Forever’s #15 lipstick. One of the Makeup Forever girls came over on Friday’s Pro-Night event. She was wearing this color, and I knew immediately I had to get it as well. It’s a gorgeous purple with just the right amount of pink and blue in it.
Well that’s it for my haul. I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend.
