Merry Christmas Everyone! NYAN!
I hope that you’ve all opened up your amazing presents, and hugged all of your loved ones today!
Maybe you’re all preparing for tonight’s Christmas feast? I know I am!
I got all decked out today for Christmas shindigs with my Sheinside cat sweater.
This year has been slightly sluggish for me, so I’m eager to welcome in 2013!
I do love Christmas though! It’s my favourite time of year for sure. And yes, I am one of those people who LOVES Christmas music.
Though I do hate SAD Christmas music.
This year my boyfriend got me a night set of lights for videos and photos. I’m actually using them for these photos.
Don’t mind Mycroft by the way, he loves the Christmas tree and refused to stay out of most of these shots.
I got my boyfriend a few gifts this year too. It was a small Christmas as I wasn’t working full time so we couldn’t go all out this year. It was still an amazing Christmas though!

As for New Year’s Eve, my boyfriend is going on an adventure to Middle Earth with his sister and mother… T__T so I’m staying in Los Angeles! I might do something small with a few friends though 
I’m mostly excited about seeing my best friend in January!

What kind of lights did you get? I got myself a set of continuous fluorescent a few years ago because they were cheap and easy, although you’re never really able to completely get rid of that weird greenblue fluorescent hue! I keep considering an upgrade, but am so clueless about lights!
It’s just a cheap set of lights with 8 florescent bulbs as well. I generally prefer to shoot cooler and change the color settings in lightroom.
i also have a speedlight which makes things a little too blown out. I think if you generally get daylight bulbs it can off set the overly blue-cool tone.
